This important 1970s table lamp, attributed to Maison Charles, is emblematic of the glamorous French design of that decade. It rests on an elegant spherical base in glazed ceramic with a mirrored, mercury-like finish, mounted on a matching quadrangular base. The surface work, rich in nuances and depth, beautifully captures the light.
