Silver-plated metal lamp with fluted shaft supported by an elegant interplay of interlaced rings and curves, resting on a black lacquered base. Created by Mellerio for Carven, it features a sleek, modern aesthetic typical of the 60s.
Mellerio is a jewelry and goldsmith's house founded in 1613 by a family originally from northern Italy and still in business today. It was supplier to Queen Marie-Antoinette, Empress Eugenie and many European crowned heads and has been established since 1815 at 9 rue de la Paix in Paris.
