"Chiseled Bronze Skeleton Clock, Marble Base With Globe, 19th Century Slo25pen001"
Napoleon III skeleton clock with its glass globe and winding key. Beautifully presented, this rare clock is entirely skeletonized, allowing the mechanism to be admired through its glass globe. The brass or gilt bronze structure is airy and perfectly complements the skeleton mechanism; the pendulum is also in perfect harmony with the whole. The structure has a small weld defect near the scrolls (see photos). The mechanism is in excellent condition but needs servicing; it strikes the hours and half-hours. The cost of a complete service is €80. We work with professional watchmakers and can guarantee this service. An additional delivery time (after full payment) is one month. Delivery as is is, of course, possible. The springs are in very good condition, and the mechanism is functional but gummed; it simply needs servicing. There is damage to the enamel dial at 6 o'clock (see photos). The clock is mounted on a marble base with its glass globe, which presents a A small chip at the base, otherwise in very good condition and without cracks. The marble base is in good condition, without damage. Everything on this set is original. Weight of the marble and clock: 8.2 kg, weight of the globe: 1.6 kg, total weight over 10 kg packaged. In case of delivery, there will be two packages: one package for the marble and clock, and a separate package for the globe, with two separate insurance policies. Dimensions of the clock including its marble base: approximately 47 x 29 x 19 cm. Dimensions of the globe: approximately 48 x 26 x 15 cm.
