Officer's Clock With Its Red Case And Two Keys - Serviced - 19th Century
Officer's clock with its red case and two keys - serviced - 19th century. This is a beautiful clock made in the 19th century. It is in good working order. Ideal for adding a touch of elegance to a study or living room, whether modern or antique style. It features three dials of different sizes for setting the time, striking the alarm, and the clock alarm. The clock is sold with two keys, one of which is a double key. It has two springs for the time and the striking mechanism, both in excellent condition. The beveled glass is in fairly good condition, some in perfect condition. There is a discreet chip on one of the corner glass pieces, almost invisible (see photos). A complete restoration of all the glass is possible; add €40 for a clock with perfectly intact glass. But it's really not necessary... This clock has been serviced by a professional and qualified watchmaker. Please note that the power reserve is short, approximately 1 to 2 days, no more. Dimensions: approximately 10 x 6.5 x 5 cm (clock excluding handle). The case is in fairly good condition, with some minor surface imperfections. It is red and provides excellent protection for international shipping. The case clasp (hidden button) is fully functional. The movement is in very good condition, with all original parts. The enamel dial is in perfect condition, see photos. The alarm function is working well. It is accurate, but with this type of movement, over 140 years old, you should expect to regularly adjust the time using the key or the balance spring release rod to regulate the gain/loss. The clock is currently accurate enough for daily use. Fast and well-protected shipping. Worldwide shipping.
