Pair of silver candlesticks, octagonal faceted design. Bayonne, 1738-1739. Master silversmith Jean Delanne III. Weight 961g - Height 20.9cm and 21cm. Condition: fairly good, with old restorations at the junction of the central boss and the stem. Traces of soldering. The candlesticks were heavily used and showed considerable wear. Thanks to Mr. Clarke of Dromantin for identifying the silversmith and dating them.
