A carved and gilded wooden reliquary bust depicting the crowned Christ, late 17th century. A rare example of a reliquary with a central oval lunette decorated with laurel leaves, typical of the Louis XIII period. The reliquary is surmounted by a carved and gilded wooden bust of the crowned Christ, draped in classical style. Two angels are visible on either side of the central bust. The central lunette contains a significant display of paper filigree and relics. Height: 42 cm Width: 50 cm
