Royal Worcester Figural Jardinière By James Hadley, Girl At Rustic Fence, 1888
A beautifully modelled Royal Worcester antique jardinière dated 1888, created by James Hadley as a young girl seated beside a rustic fence enclosing a circular flower holder. This sculptural format combines decorative elegance with practical display.
Finished in the celebrated ivory and blush palette, the figure shows refined enamel shading, expressive facial modelling and carefully detailed rustic textures throughout the base and fence.
The impressed Royal Worcester mark with puce date code for 1888 and Hadley’s signature are present on the base. Fence-enclosed Worcester jardinières remain among the most collectible sculptural productions of the factory.
