We present a rare piece, carved and polychrome in wood, in the Neo-Gothic style. This processional statue, designed to be mounted on a pedestal or processional staff, is sculpted in the round and rests on a base adorned with gilded acanthus leaves. Saint Francis Xavier was a Jesuit missionary and co-founder of the Jesuit order.
The figure is 40 cm high, with overall dimensions of 53 cm x 13 cm at the base.
It is in good condition despite some minor losses, particularly to the cross.
