"Incised Decorative Scroll Vase On A Celadon Ground. China, Qing Dynasty, 19th Century. "
A Chinese hard-paste porcelain vase, incised before firing with a multitude of flowers, covered with celadon glaze. The designs are beautiful, the glaze has a slight "orange peel" texture, and the porcelain shows rare, small spots of iron impurities. The vase was hand-thrown on a potter's wheel; however, we believe it to be from the second half of the 19th century, although it is in the style of the 18th century. Good condition, no repairs. Height 45 cm.
