Antique Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Hexagonal Vase, Kangxi Period, 26.8 Cm

An antique Chinese blue-and-white porcelain hexagonal baluster vase, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1662–1722).

Of elegant six-sided form, the vase is painted in underglaze blue with shaped panels containing flowering plants, set against a dense geometric diaper-pattern ground. Further floral panels decorate the hexagonal neck and foot, with stylised lotus-petal borders around the shoulders and base.

A decorative and unmistakably genuine example of Kangxi-period Chinese blue-and-white porcelain.

Height: 26.8 cm.

Condition: Restored, around the neck, as clearly illustrated in the photographs.

The restoration is reflected in the price, presenting a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine Kangxi blue-and-white porcelain vase of this impressive size for a very reasonable price.
