"Chinese Dish In The Famille Verte Style, In The Shape Of A Chrysanthemum, Kangxi Period, 17th/18th Century"
A chrysanthemum-shaped dish, decorated in the Famille Verte style. The center is decorated with glossy enamels depicting a vase of blooming chrysanthemums on a building's terrace. Inside, a frieze of vases and precious objects, evoking cracked glass, alternates with bamboo and pine medallions. The rim is decorated with plum blossoms. The underside features floral sprays. Kangxi, 17th/18th century.
Diameter: 24.2 cm.
Condition: a 0.24 cm chip, filled, on the underside.
