This very beautiful rug, of exquisite fineness, is hand-knotted wool on wool.
The decoration is very generous and elegant, featuring mandorlas placed diagonally and decorated with the Tree of Life.
The border is cruciform and Greek key patterns.
The rug finishes at both ends with a kilim-style hem ending in long fringes.
The border work is admirable, as is the central field which forms the heart of this piece!
