Object description :

"The Painter Roger Cremers Is Featured."
I love the wordplay in the title... Exceptional were the painting talents of Mr. Roger Cremers. Mysterious posters, labeled in French yet painted in Lede, Holland. In fact, Cremers was the name of a map publishing company in the 1920s and 30s. The paintings were commissioned by the J. Desmet bookstore in Lede... A nod, no doubt, to the painter of the same name. Of the five senses, sight has disappeared; three posters remain, unique pieces since they were painted: smell, taste, touch, and hearing. Didactic canvas panels measuring 92cm x 67cm, in good condition. Astonishing.
