I, the undersigned, Lynne Thornton, expert, certify that “The Warriors”, relined, unsigned, measuring 300 cm x 500 cm, was part of the “Pantheon of the War.”

The Pantheon of the War was a panoramic painting created by a team of French artists under the direction of Pierre Carrier-Belleuse and Auguste François. The subject brings together all the civil and military heroes of the First World War. It was inaugurated in 1918 by Raymond Poincaré, President of the French Republic.
