This charming bombé walnut commode, typical of the Nantes-Saint-Lô region, is a characteristic style of 18th-century western France. It features three drawers in three rows, with harmoniously curved fronts adorned with finely crafted original bronze mounts: drop handles and matching keyhole escutcheons, preserved in their beautiful antique patina. The piece rests on graceful cabriole legs, lending lightness and elegance to the whole. The high-quality top is made of carefully selected walnut with a warm and vibrant grain, offering a striking decorative presence despite the commode's small size. Fully restored in our workshops using traditional techniques, this commode is now in excellent condition, ready to grace a classic or contemporary interior.
