"Kilim / Adyaman Gallery - Anatolia. Circa 1880. 325 X 100 Cm"
Magnificent gallery/corridor kilim originating from Adiyaman in Eastern Anatolia. Woven and embroidered wool on wool in the traditional manner. The piece is composed of a succession of horizontal woven and embroidered bands. The work is very fine. Without a doubt, the kilim was woven by the Kurdish population, the majority in this region. The vibrant, plant-based hues are breathtaking! Circa 1880. Very good overall condition despite some signs of age. A full appraisal is available upon request. 325 x 100 cm. Laurent Beauty of Kilims
