A small museum piece and a true collector's item. A superb and moving fragment of a Cuval Obruk originating from the Konya region of Central Anatolia. Cuvals are grain bags used by nomadic populations for storage and transport. Woven and embroidered wool on wool. Natural, plant-based dyes of incredible freshness. Circa 1880. Very good condition.
