Sumptuous Kurdish rug originating from Eastern Turkey. Woven and knotted wool on wool using traditional methods. The quality of the wool is remarkable, soft and almost silky. The pile is short, approximately 5 mm. The natural, vegetal hues are luminous and deep. Magnificent indigo blue. The understated yet exceptionally well-organized composition of this piece makes it both delicate and captivating. It is a masterpiece! Late 19th Century. Very good condition.
