Magnificent Qashqai Khorjin (satchel) originating from Persia. Woven and knotted wool upon wool in the traditional manner. Rather thick pile, approximately 1 cm. The quality of the wool is remarkable, soft, almost silky. Magnificent luminous and deep vegetal hues. Very beautiful sheen. The object is over a century old, however the freshness of the colors is striking. Tones of indigo blue, midnight blue, brick, ivory, dark brown, ochre... On the upper part, the intact closure system is a welcome feature. This can be used for wall hanging by inserting a rod into its slots. A very beautiful piece. In perfect condition. Circa 1900.
