- Rare pocket watch from the renowned Swiss watch manufacturer IWC (International Watch Co.)Schaffhausen, in solid silver, chased and guillochéd, and plated with rose gold, commemorating the 1890 Swiss Federal Rifle Festival in Frauenfeld, in the German-speaking part of Thurgau, Switzerland.
- The very first Swiss IWC shooting pocket watches were made in 1890 for the Federal Rifle Festival in Frauenfeld.
- This is therefore a pocket watch made specifically for this event.
- What pride for the shooter to win a prize, embodied in a trophy or watch engraved with the name of the
event that saw him crowned champion.

- The winding mechanism is operated by the pendant, and the time is set by pressing the small pusher located at the top right next to the pendant head and simultaneously turning the winding crown clockwise.
