- Gété brand pocket watch accompanied by its warranty certificate and its proof test on tracing paper in solid silver decorated with scrolls and vertical straight lines and a blank escutcheon without initials. - Gété SA watch and chronometer manufacturer, founded in 1887, successor to the Grisot & Troncin brothers watch factory located at 4 Place du Jura, currently Place de Lattre de Tassigny in Besançon, Doubs department (25). - French hallmark of 800/1000 fineness expressed in thousandths, used in France from 1834 to 1984, present on the case back, dust cover and on the edge of the watch case with the mint mark of the Besançon precious metals control office between the crab's lower legs, number 54772 engraved in relief on the case back and dust cover. - Gété brand logo hallmark engraved in relief on the case back. - Goldsmith's hallmark in a diamond shape on the dust cover and the letters L&F with a lizard between the two letters for the Lévy Frères company, watch case manufacturer. - The Lévy Frères company is located at 25 rue Gambetta in Besançon. Smooth edge of the watch and bezel, silvered crown winder and slightly domed beveled mineral crystal. - White enamel dial marked Gété in full and the brand's logo painted in black at 12 o'clock. Arabic numerals for the hours and 24-hour markers painted in black, railway track minute markers. - Small seconds subdial at six o'clock, Arabic numerals for the seconds, railway track minute markers painted in black and blued steel seconds hand. - Gilt brass movement signed "Gété chronometer" in full and engraved in relief on the ruby-jeweled movement with escapement, blued steel screws, crown wheel, ratchet wheel, and polished steel advance/retard regulator located above the balance wheel. - Winding via pendant and time setting by pulling on the top of the winding crown and simultaneously turning the crown clockwise.
