"Puiforcat : Large Sterling Silver Serving Set, Elysee Pattern"
Prestigious Regency style solid silver serving set by Puiforcat in the Elysée pattern. This model, the epitome of elegance and refinement, has been called Elysée since it graced the formal tables of the Presidents of the French Republic at the Élysée Palace since the late 1940s, representing the pinnacle of French tableware. The stew service is complete with its large fork and large spoon, meaning both pieces have numbered cartouches on the spatulas. Each piece bears the Minerva 1st Standard hallmark (.925) and the hallmark of the master silversmith Emile Puiforcat. This prestigious Puiforcat Elysée pattern stew service is in excellent condition, complete, and presented in its double-compartment pouch and original box, with minor scratches consistent with age.
