Elegant porcelain plate from the Imperial Vienna Manufactory, dating to circa 1825–1830, executed in the refined Empire / early Biedermeier style.The plate is richly decorated with polychrome and gilt ornamentation, featuring a wide border with alternating reserves adorned with foliate motifs, scrollwork and stylised landscapes, finely hand-gilded and painted. The rim is completed by a delicate leaf-patterned border, characteristic of high-quality Viennese porcelain of the early 19th century.The centre is finely hand-painted with a neoclassical mythological scene, depicting Cupid playing with the Three Graces, rendered with excellent painterly quality, harmonious colours and careful depiction of drapery and landscape.The reverse bears the blue shield mark of the Imperial Vienna Manufactory together with the handwritten inscription “Cupidos Spiel”, confirming authenticity and period.The plate is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations; the porcelain, gilding and painted decoration are perfectly preserved.A refined collector’s piece for Viennese porcelain enthusiasts, collectors of 19th-century decorative arts and neoclassical iconography.
