Paris porcelain coffee cups Epyptian style decorated with pink lotus flowers and gold threads. The saucers is signed Dagoty Paris underneath. This mark was used until 1804 (date of imperial approval). Empire Consulate production, eary 19th century.
Dagoty manufacture is one of the most prestigious porcelain factories active in Paris under the Empire and the French Restoration, during early 19th century. Empress Joséphine crowned the company by granting it the coveted title of Manufacture of HM the Empress, then that of Manufacture of HRH Madame the Duchess of Angoulême. In excellent condition, no accident, gilt a little locally worn out.
