Virginie Cokelberghs (known as Virgi), 1893-1967, was a Belgian painter of portraits, landscapes, flowers, and still lifes. She studied at the Academy of Mechelen, her hometown, and later under Herman Richir and Constant Montald at the Academy of Brussels. She taught at the Academy of Mechelen from 1926 and later at the Laeken Teacher Training College. Her works are in the Schaerbeek Museum. She is listed in the Bénézit, Arto, and Piron art dictionaries. Listed on Artprice, Artnet, Akoun, etc...
