Epinal Tureen/Pot - Late 18th, Early 19th Century. High-fired earthenware with the characteristic colors and decorations of Epinal (see reference book, piece reproduced). Decorated with roosters and birds, a motif commonly found on plates from this factory. Pieces of this shape are rare. It has undergone two repairs: a completely new handle and a chip in the glaze on the lid, which has been filled and repainted (see photos). Otherwise, it is a faience piece. Height 18 cm, width 21 cm
