Single-shot percussion pistol, 19th century, circa 1840, No. 2. Materials: wood, steel, brass. Dimensions: overall length 21 cm. 19th century, circa 1840, Germany? Condition: very good, in working order. Octagonal steel barrel with a smoothbore; the number "70" is stamped on the barrel and breechblock. The reverse bears the mark "U" under a crown. The box-type breechblock has a hammer and trigger protected by a wide steel trigger guard. The stock is short, smooth, made of walnut, and fitted with a spherical pommel.
