Antique Cut And Chiseled Crystal Decanter With Floral Decoration, Bohemia, 19th-20th Century
An elegant antique decanter from the late 19th/early 20th century, Bohemia, Czech Republic, made of cut and chased crystal, decorated with a wheel-engraved floral and vegetal motif. The body is highlighted by a central chased frieze, while the upper and lower sections are regularly cut and rest on a star-shaped base forming a slightly raised circular plinth. The decanter is completed with a simple flat crystal stopper, which is not the original stopper but a hand-numbered Baccarat stopper, consistent with the overall design. Approximately 19cm high with its stopper, 16.5cm without, with a maximum diameter of approximately 12cm. Very good overall condition, with a few fine scratches from use, a very slight deposit on the base that is barely visible, discreet wear inside the neck, and a small, barely visible chip on the stopper. There are also a few very small, discreet chips or nicks on the edges and manufacturing imperfections, which do not affect its appearance. Approximately 800g.
