Antique Frosted Glass And Enamel Egg Box, 19th-20th Century
Adorable and rare hand-blown glass egg-shaped box (a few small bubbles), frosted/frosted, hand-enameled with a floral/vegetal design: fluffy pink flowers and buds, green leaves, and a brown branch. On a small foot, it could serve as a jewelry box or small candy dish, and was probably originally a sewing kit box. A collector's item. Gilt brass rim and hinge. Antique, late 19th/early 20th century, circa 1870-1910. In the style of Legras, unsigned, likely produced in Bohemia or France. 15cm high, 8.7cm maximum diameter. Very good condition, no cracks or chips, the metal is slightly faded, discreet, with only a few very small scratches. Approximately 250g.
