Large circular pewter bowl with an irregular shape and rolled rim, decorated in the center with a "soldered" design characteristic of this artist.
Signed and stamped by the artist.
Diameter: 34 cm.

In perfect condition.
René Delavan began his career in the 1920s, a flourishing period for Art Deco in France, and continued his work until 1958. His work embodies the French Art Deco aesthetic, characterized by hammered surfaces, geometric or stylized motifs, and a meticulous finish that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern design. His pieces are sought after by collectors of Art Deco and 20th-century design.
