Magnificent decoration of water leaf friezes and floral motifs framed by applied palmettes. Vermeil (gold over silver) interiors. Hallmarked with the French Minerva 1st Standard mark (.950) and the hallmarks of the silversmiths LAGRIFFOUL & LAVAL (“L&L” and three stars in a triangle), registered in 1899. This spectacular Empire Style tea and coffee service is in very good condition, having been serviced and cleaned by our silversmith, with only minor scratches.
