Epinal plate with a rooster on a branch - Late 18th century - High-fire plate with 8 lobes, a characteristic Epinal decoration. Decorated with a rooster resting on a branch. This design is rarer than the rooster on a fence or on the ground. The rim is decorated with 3 bouquets. This plate is reproduced in the reference book. Restored at 5 o'clock (see photo). One tiny crack at 11 o'clock, no other chips. Diameter 22.7 cm
