Lunéville Wall Sconce Bouquetière, Late 18th Century
Lunéville wall sconce bouquetière, late 18th century. High-fire earthenware depicting a "rustic" rooster resting on a mound surrounded by barriers. The colors and shape of this bouquetière would point this piece towards Lunéville manufacture. See attached documentation. Has been the subject of a publication. Piece that has suffered the ravages of time. Has been the subject of several repairs (chips on the base, upper border and central area of the sconce). 2 small chips remain. All of these elements explain its low price.
