Epinal plate with a rooster on a fence - Late 18th - Early 19th century. A high-fired plate with eight lobes, a characteristic Epinal decoration. Decorated with a rooster on a fence, resting on a grassy mound. The rim is decorated with three bouquets. This plate is reproduced in the reference book. Excellent condition. Note a small chip repaired at 10 o'clock (see last photo). Diameter 22.7 cm
