Early 19th Century Earthenware Inkwell - High-fired earthenware, decorated with a frieze and a sponge-painted top. Its original manufacturer is unknown: Argonne, or another? The top has three penholes and is fitted with its original pewter inkwell. Good condition. It has undergone some restoration (chips and enamel losses) on the base (see last photos).
