Earthenware Inkwell - Early 19th Century

Early 19th Century Earthenware Inkwell - High-fired earthenware, decorated with a frieze and a sponge-painted top. Its original manufacturer is unknown: Argonne, or another? The top has three penholes and is fitted with its original pewter inkwell. Good condition. It has undergone some restoration (chips and enamel losses) on the base (see last photos). Height 4.5 cm, width 11 cm
