19th Century Cherub Putto Sculpture Paperweight In Red Marble
Small spelter paperweight sculpture with a golden-brown patina depicting a small Cupid or cherub reclining and playing with a ball, mounted on a red marble base, dating from the 19th century. This sculpture is in good overall condition. Note: a break and the child's index finger is missing (see red arrow), there are minor chips and cracks on the edges of the marble base, and some scratches and wear consistent with age. See photos.
