"Kyo Japanese Ceramic Tea Box - Japan"
Cha-ire, a round ceramic tea caddy from Kyoto, glazed in black with an elegant beige-brown drip, with a carved bone lid covered in gold leaf on the inside. The artist's seal is on the underside: Keiichi Oketani (born 1935). The piece also comes with its original shifuku silk bag and box, signed by the artist. Japan, circa 1980, 7 x 7 cm.
