Gilt Bronze Portico Clock
We present this lovely gilt bronze portico clock, possibly from the Empire or Restoration period. I suggest Restoration because the suspension is not wire-driven; either it is from the Empire period and the suspension has been replaced, or it was originally made this way and dates from 1820/1830. The gilding is perfect, the mechanism is complete and in working order. The bell shown in the photos is missing, but an antique bell will be included. This clock has charming proportions, small and elegant. Shipping extra (€25).
