Tommy Saint-louis, Set Of 6 Roemer Glasses In Multicolored Crystal

A superb set of six Roemer glasses in double-layered crystal from the Saint-Louis crystalworks, Tommy pattern. Representative of the manufacturer's expertise, these glasses feature diamond, almond, fillet, cord, and pearl cuts on the bowl, as well as a star-cut base.
The pattern was created in 1928 for the dinner hosted by President Albert Lebrun at the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles, in honor of the British Allies of World War I, whose soldiers were affectionately nicknamed "Tommies." Each glass is a different color: cobalt blue, green, ruby red, amethyst, turquoise, and yellow.
The set offers a beautiful harmony and luminous reflections, perfectly visible in the photographs.
The Saint-Louis stamp steel present under three of the glasses. We did not find the stamp under the ruby red, dark blue, and amethyst glasses.
The light blue glass has the stamp on the edge of the base.
The dark green and yellow glasses have the stamp in the center of the base.
There is a small firing flaw in the stem of the amethyst glass.

PERFECT CONDITION, no cracks or chips.
