Naïve-style Box With 3 Drawers, Painted Wood, 18th Century, Found Condition
Artist: Art Populaire
A wonderful little chest of drawers with three drawers, made from sponge-painted oak, mottled brown, with black, red, and cream trim. Antique piece: this chest of drawers model probably dates from the 1720s.
It has seen considerable use and shows significant wear, particularly on drawer ends, which were roughly repaired by the previous owner. Overall, however, it is in fairly good condition.
