Renaissance Heraldic Lion, Large Double Decorator's Mold, Circa 1860,

Two curious professional molds from end of 19th century, galvanic metal, one with a golden patina, the second copper-plated, by bringing them together, we obtain a Renaissance-style heraldic lion in 3 dimensions.
Each face of these plates is the galvanic representation of a real sculpture, probably from period, a museum piece with a rendering of details, of coat quite superb.
On the technical side, do not ask me "how, why in which direction?", I do not know more than you, but very enthusiastic about the beauty of what I offer you.
Probably to edit a "chalcography" in 3D.

Good condition, perhaps a 3rd ventral mold is missing to remake an animal, but the 2 facades, with their different patina are really striking
