Antique rectangular tray in dark wood, adorned around its entire perimeter with finely inlaid mother-of-pearl. The panels feature varied compositions blending flowers, scholarly objects, animals, and decorative symbols characteristic of late 19th-early 20th century Vietnam. The openwork frieze at the bottom of each side enhances the overall elegance and testifies to meticulous craftsmanship. The interior surface displays a consistent patina of the wood, consistent with the piece's age and use. Condition: signs of age and a few discreet cracks. Dimensions: 24 × 24 × 7 cm.
