"Patinated Bronze And Green Marble Top, Louis XVI Style, Napoleon III Period"
An elegant circular tray in patinated bronze, finely chased with a frieze of leaves and pearls around the rim. The side handles, shaped like knotted ribbons and acanthus leaves, display beautiful casting in the 18th-century style. The center is inlaid with green marble veined with white, probably of the Verde Alpi type, which contrasts with the warm patina of the bronze. The whole rests on four small turned feet. This tray, in the Louis XVI style, dates from the Napoleon III period (circa 1880). Diameter 27 cm without the handles, 34 cm with the handles, height approximately … cm. Very good overall condition, beautiful antique patina with slight signs of wear.
