Bronze crucifix pendant, 16th century
This pendant consists of a flat cross to which is attached a crucifix made of two slender rods. The crucifix depicts Christ with arms raised in a semicircle, wearing a perizonium with flaps flowing on either side. The ends of the cross are adorned with openwork rosettes in relief. The whole is surmounted by a large ribbon bow held by another rosette.
Very good condition, with traces of gilding on the bow and tin plating on the back.
