"Jean Lurçat – “tree Nymph”, Circa 1955"
A glazed ceramic dish decorated with an abstract composition typical of Jean Lurçat's ceramic period in the 1950s. At the center unfolds a biomorphic figure evoking a tree-nymph, surrounded by branching black lines reminiscent of a stylized plant network. The reverse bears the artist's mark and signature, circa 1955. Very good condition.
