The set comprises a shell-shaped spoon, a spatula, and a fork.
The spatulas are formed by a scroll of acanthus leaves unfurling along the handle and joining at the ends in a motif of scrolling flowers and foliage.
The decoration is very elaborate, with a strong, dynamic style and intricately cut motifs.
The ends are made of partially vermeiled silver, finely engraved and/or pierced.
Each piece is hallmarked:
. Minerva 1st standard (pre-1973) for 950/1000 silver
. Maker's mark: HS with a rising sun and a star for Henri Soufflot, active from 1884 to 1910
