The set is housed in a rectangular box decorated with chinoiserie on a green background in Martin-style varnish.
The keyhole and hinges are made of highly decorated brass.
The interior of the box, lined with raspberry fabric and metal thread, probably silver, reveals:
. Four canted bottles, the necks and stoppers are silver, connected by a chain.
. A silver funnel for filling the bottles.
. A small silver cup for mixing.
. A silver dish, probably for mixing eyeshadows or pomades.
. A mirror in the lid, protected by a cushion.
This set is very complete; no item is missing, even the rare cushion protecting the mirror is present, which is unusual, as it is often lost or too damaged over the years. Each silver piece is hallmarked with a dog's head, a Parisian hallmark used between 1732 and 1738.
Magnificent and rare perfume cabinet, complete with all its original elements. A charming testament to the art of living of high society at the beginning of the reign of Louis XV.

Good overall condition. The Martin varnish is very damaged on the right side and to a lesser extent on the lid; the key is missing. Small dents in the silver stoppers.
