"Cloisonné Vase With Bird, Japan, Meiji Period (1868-1912). "
This vase, crafted using the cloisonné technique (cellular enamel on a brass vessel), depicts a bird perched on a branch of a Japanese maple (Acer palmatum). It portrays an autumnal landscape where the maple leaves are changing color. The spout and base are decorated with motifs.

Japan, Meiji era (1868-1912).

Height 26 cm, diameter 14 cm.

Very good condition, with a small scratch visible on the lower part of the bird.
