Villanis" and "1899", circa 1900. Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914) was a French sculptor of Italian origin. From 1871 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin. From the mid-1880s until the end of his life he lived and worked in Paris. Since 1886, he has actively participated in annual salons, he also presented his works at world exhibitions.
