Hussar troop bridle with certificate from my collection. Consulate/First Empire. Entirely in patent leather, iron buckles and brass fittings. Bridle composed of its headstall, throatlatch, browband, cheekpieces, and crosspiece (connecting the headstall to the noseband). The queen is at its original length, late 19th century. Bridle bit of the so-called "pigeon throat" shape. Cast brass throatlatch crescent. Good condition, see photos. France. Consulate - First Empire. Except for the queen, late 19th century. Sold with certificate from my collection.
